Kandy Day Tour
Sri Lanka's royal and spiritual capital โ the sacred tooth relic, a beautiful highland lake, and a spectacular cultural show
About This Tour
Kandy was the last royal capital of Sri Lanka โ the Kandyan Kingdom survived long after the coastal regions fell to colonial powers, finally surrendering to the British only in 1815. Today it remains the spiritual and cultural heart of the island, home to the Temple of the Tooth Relic (the most sacred Buddhist site in Sri Lanka), the magnificent Royal Botanical Gardens, and the living traditions of Kandyan dance, drumming, and crafts.
